You don't need to register to view our auction. Our auction works differently than other online button auctions. If you need help registering or need help learing how ours works, CALL US and we will walk you through what ever you need!

On each lot page you will see the current top bid, ending time with a count down clock, how many people are bidding and who is the highest bidder. You can also see the ending times (EST) for each lot on the downloadable Bidders Guide. Click on Ending soonest in the dropdown menu to see what lots are ending first.

We would like to remind our bidders that it’s up to you to bid carefully. PLEASE NOTE THE GRAPHIC BELOW! If you make bidding mistakes during the auction, call Deb 339-368-0669 or Dee 650-868-1690 and we will help you. You can also email deb@hansonsbuttonbarn.comOnce bidding is closed, you are responsible for paying the amount you bid. 

TO PLACE A MAX BID, you must FIRST place a starting bid in the BID box. Then to place your MAX bid place this bid in the MAX BID box below the Bid box.

If bidding by phone DO NOT place bids from your account page, place them from each auction lots' page.

PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to note materials when we list consigner's buttons and take photos that represent the items as they are. It is up to the bidder to look at the photos and decide to bid or not. We are happy to pull any item or card to answer any questions about an item! There are no refunds or returns on auction items won. Hansons Button Barn is not responosible for lost or damaged buttons during shipment. We suggest you choose to insure your package.

By bidding on this auction you are responsible for paying for all auction lots you won + the buyer's premium (13.5% buyer's premium - less 3.5% if paying with a US check or Zelle.) + shipping cost within 7 days after receiving an invoice.

We accept a personal check, money order, Zelle, Venmo or credit card for payment.

About us: We are Deb and Dee Hanson. We live in Vermont. We are both artists. Our friends call us the “Double D’s”. Deb is a button identification “expert” with 25+ years experience with collectible buttons. Dee new nothing about buttons till she met Deb and now she is  loving being in the button world. Dee’s background is in graphic design and marketing communication. We love selling buttons together (as Hansons Button Barn), running successful online button auctions and live the phrase, “Friend’s selling friend’s buttons to friend’s!”!
