Hello Willow Glen Elementary Parents and Guests,
We would officially like to welcome you to the Willow Glen Elementary "Dancing Through the Decades" annual auction! Below you will find a ton of information that you will need for this Saturday's event. Please take a moment and read through all the information as this will help you better understand what to expect when you arrive.. Well maybe not everything. We might have some surprises still left for the evening :)
Date: Saturday March 18th
Where: Santa Teresa Golf Club (Follow the sign where the road splits)
260 Bernal Road
San Jose CA 95119
Attire: Feel free to dress in your favorite decade! (This is not required, but super fun!)
Bites: Appetizers by Guther's Restaurant & Catering will be available to nibble on.
Beverages: Beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, water and coffee are included in your auction tickets. A full cash bar will also be available.
Desserts: A dessert table donated by The Sugar Table will be provided.
Ice Cream Cart: From 8pm-9:30pm MorningStar Events will have hand scooped ice cream available for all guests to choose from.
Band: Opening up the evening will be Generation Rex playing all of the cool jams you grew up listening to through the decades.
Outdoor games: Jenga, giant beer pong and cornhole will be available if you are feeling extra competitive.
DJ: DJ Apak from J Michlette Entertainment will be taking over after Generation Rex completes their show.
Casino: Come hang out with our friends from 3 of a Kind Casino and learn how to play black jack, craps or roulette. Once you get the hang of it you will be a pro!
Photo Booth: Make sure to stop by the photo booth to remember this super fun evening. After all, you did dress up for a night out right?!
Wine Pull: In the spirit of our casino night, wine pull tickets are available for pre-purchase. Tickets are $25 per pull. What is a wine pull? We have a limited amount of wine ranging from $15-$150 per bottle that will be hidden in separate wine gift bags. When you arrive, you will have a chance to pull the best wine out of the gift bags available! Click here to pre-purchase your tickets before they are gone!
Raffles: At 9:30pm the casino table will shut down for the evening. At this time all casino staff will cash out your chips for a chance to earn raffle tickets. For each $100 in casino chips left you will receive (1) raffle ticket. You will find 5 plexiglass cubes with prize descriptions on each box. You will then find the raffle box you would like to enter and drop your ticket in. For this you must be present to win! If you would like to pre-purchase extra raffle tickets for better chances at winning, additional raffle tickets are $10 per ticket. Click here to pre-purchase.
Casino chips: Feel the need to put all the chips on black? Extra casino chips are available for purchase at different levels. Click here to pre-purchase.
Auction items: Auction items will go live through the online auction link, Saturday March 18th at 9:00am. Be sure to scroll through 125+ auction items, classroom art and classroom donated baskets and put your bids in. Make sure to sign up for all outbidding alerts located in your bidding account. This auction is 100% paperless when it comes to all auction items (minus the live bidding). Please sign into your account and search for Willow Glen Elementary PTA Auction at the top left hand corner, click view items and begin bidding.
We will have a few items up for live bidding so do not forget to grab a paddle on the way in at check in!
Bidding account: If you have not created a bidding account as of yet, please do so prior to arriving at the event. Upon check in we will ask you to pull up your bidding account on your mobile phone so we can make sure our records match yours.
Check out: Sadly the current auction software does not store credit cards for automatic check out. As we are doing everything we can do to keep costs low and incoming funds high, you will be sent a final invoice to review and pay upon departing the auction. You will find a final payment link in your email inbox that will route you through PayPal or a straight credit card payment also through the PayPal platform. The invoice will come directly to your email address that you have added to your bidding account. We will announce reminders to check your bidding accounts, checkout, pay all invoices promptly and come see us at the front desk to pick up your auction items.

On Saturday evening we will shower you with non-stop fun, but please remember we are raising money for the students and staff of Willow Glen Elementary. All money raised will go straight back to Willow Glen PTA. The PTA pays for things like science, music, art, gardening, school evening events and so much more! Please know that you are helping us make a difference by attending the auction.
