Purring in my lap
Or curled up in a shadowed corner
It wasn't long enough
In the ever after, I hope the food bowl is full
That the skies match your coat
The corners are cozy
And that you are content to sit, but never play
Because you would have liked it that way

Ivory Morgan is a hobby artist that lives in Qulin, Missouri with her husband, three oddly named children, chickens, and twelve foot skeleton. Ivory has an associates degree in art and primarily paints abstract pieces that most probably wouldn't understand.
