Via the artist: I have two cats, Gabor and Sophie. They each want to be "only cats". This painting is a shining example of turf warfare.

Poplar Bluff is lucky to have an artist of this caliber and taste level in our midst. If you are a local, you may remember Laura from her days of teaching at our school.

Laura’s style is more modern with a wide range of abstract and contemporary pieces. Her works range from colorful landscapes, intriguing portraits, furry animals, and religious themes. Her newest portraits are playfully fun and will add that “je ne sais quoi” charm to any home.
