Description
This Tara statue is from our minister's collection of religious artifacts from around the globe. Tara is a Boddhisattva of Compassion and one of the Mahavidya's or Great Wisdoms of the Divine Feminine in Hinduism. Rev. Jeremiah discovered this Tara statue while backpacking to the ancient temple caves on the Island of Elephanta in India. She had traveled to many Unitarian Universalist churches and is looking for a new home.
