Seraphinite and cubic zirconia sterling silver pendant: 55mm high x 35mm wide with an 18” sterling silver chain. Seraphinite was named after Seraphim, the highest rank of angels in the Bible, due to the feather-like appearance of its chatoyant fibers. The stone usually has a dark green to gray color with silvery shimmer caused by mica inclusions. Although it is not an official birthstone, seraphinite is associated with the zodiac sign Sagittarius.
Julia works primarily in sterling silver, often combined with semi precious gemstones and freeform cabochons. Her focus is on techniques such as cuttlebone, broom & found object casting that produce unique pieces, as well as limited run designs from lost wax carving
