This is a still life of a spring bulb beginning to flower and sits on a black box. The bulb has warm purple tones against the yellow green leaves of the hyacinth and its flower has a subtle white/yellow tone. The box has a warm grey/black and sits on a panel of the same grey in a lighter tone. Background is cool green and the double frame has a white insert with the outside frame complimenting the darker tones.
