This painting of Mooghaun woods shows the splendour of the Irish woodlands. Mooghaun is the location of the largest hoard of gold found in western Europe. The original painting was completed on location in County Clare using watercolour techniques.

Artist Helen Lowe, was born in Ballisodare, Sligo. She is a visual artist with many paintings sold worldwide. Helen Lowes paintings, capture the solidarity of seascapes, landscape and fauna of Ireland. The selected awe-inspiring paintings are brought to life using classical elements of earth, water, fire, and air giving the images a three-dimensional feel.
