Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The MACC, as it is now familiarly called, opened in May 1994 as the culmination of a decades-long dream of a core group of leaders and a plan supported by the entire community, to build a place to present the visual and performing arts for the enrichment and enjoyment of all on Maui. For twenty years now, The MACC has been the most comprehensive, multi-disciplinary arts facility in Hawai'i, and boasts a position as a world class venue.
