Learn how to shape and create your own versions of challah and babka at Essen Bakery, East Passyunk Avenue's newest neighborhood gem, with owner, Tova Du Plessis! In this 2-hour class for two, you and a friend can experiment with the intricacies and techniques of braiding and flavoring challah (with seeds, za'atar, cinnamon, sugar, etc.) and shaping and personalizing babka (with chocolate, halva, nuts, etc.). You'll leave with challah and babka to enjoy! Essen Bakery is located at 1437 East Passyunk Avenue and will feature Jewish baked goods and items. Since Essen Bakery is slated for an opening in early April, this amazing class may only be redeemed after July 1, 2016.
For all experiences you will be given the contact information of the person providing the experience and you should set up a time directly with the person. If you need help, the EPX events chair will also assist.
