Description

The Designer knew instantly that he wanted to carve a bench from this branch of the legendary Maple Leaf Forever Tree. Using chainsaws, grinders, and sanders, the process began by removing the bark and rot until solid wood was exposed. Three generous single seats have been carved, two seats on one side at opposite ends of the bench, and another single seat on the opposite side in the middle of the bench.

The legs will be made from cold rolled steel. A water based polyurethane will be applied as the final step of the making process. Because this branch is hollow, it is best suited for indoor use without having to face the elements. The Designer envisions this piece to look amazing in a large entrance or foyer.
