Description

This piece melds the natural beauty and characteristics of a maple tree with a functional and contemporary design. Certain log slices resembled drips of sap once placed vertically. Multiple slices were cored out to accommodate a light bulb and individually hung from a long fabric light string. A contemporary light bulb from Plumen was added and the design relationship was created. The sap light hanging fixture.
