Crallé's wonderful pocket series begins with a mono-print made by pressing a pair of sumi-ink soaked jeans onto thick cotton paper. Once the imprint has been made, the artist adds more texture with pen and ink, and slides a hand-painted collage handkerchief element into the pocket.
